The Ibn Khaldun Fellowship for Saudi Arabian women is now sponsored by Saudi Arabia's King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST).
The Deadline to apply for September 2019 has passed. Applications for September 2020 will open later this year.
Once applications are received:
- KACST and MIT will review the candidates and conduct video conference interviews with finalists. MIT will make final selection of fellows for admission. Interviews will take place beginning in early February 2019, and admission notifications will be sent no later than 28 February 2019.
- Admitted fellows will be required to provide a letter by 1 June 2019 granting leave from their university.
- MIT will work to pair each fellow with a faculty advisor and start the appointment/U.S. visa process. This is an ongoing process starting with initial acceptance but visa paperwork must be started by no later than 1 June 2019.
- Admitted fellows will begin their fellowship in September 2019.
