Dr. Hend Alrasheed
Biography:
Hend Alrasheed is an associate professor at the College of Computer and Information Sciences at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She received her B.S. and M.S. in computer science from King Saud University. She received her Ph.D. in computer science from Kent State University, Kent, USA. Her doctoral research lies at the intersection of graph theory and network science focusing on the analysis of structural properties of complex social networks.
MIT Fellowship Research Abstract:
At MIT, Dr. Alrasheed’s research continues to investigate large-scale social data using social computing and generative artificial intelligence tools. Focusing on human mobility and social interaction, her research aims to discover hidden patterns and answer key questions relating to community dynamics.
